A special election will be held on Tuesday, June 25th for voting precincts in the 56th Representative District.  Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for those precincts.  Call the Elections office at 859-255-8683 if you have any questions.

Fayette County is named in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette. The Lexington city government and Fayette county government merged January 1, 1974 to form the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government.
